What Data Do We Collect?

We only collect information necessary to operate the website:

  • Contact Form: Name, email address, and message — only if you choose to send us a message.
  • Newsletter: Email address — only if you subscribe to the newsletter.
  • Feedback: Your report and, only if supplied, your name and email address.
  • Ask AI: Questions, conversation context, and a pseudonymous daily-usage bucket when you use the optional assistant.

Cookies and Analytics

Google Analytics, PostHog and Vercel Analytics load only after you choose “Accept analytics”. When enabled they collect usage information such as page views, traffic source, browser or device details, and interaction events. These services may use cookies or similar browser storage. Analytics are optional deployment integrations and are not required for the directory to function.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Analytics settings” control shown on the site. Withdrawing stops future GA, PostHog and Vercel browser analytics activity, including an already-loaded PostHog session recording. You can also clear the site's local storage, change your browser settings, or use the Google opt-out add-on.

Third Parties

Fonts and material-symbol styles may be loaded from Google Fonts. If you use Ask AI, prompts and relevant directory context are sent to Google's Gemini service to generate a response. Optional analytics are processed by Google Analytics and PostHog. Contact messages may be delivered through the configured email or webhook provider. These providers may process IP addresses and other technical request data under their own terms.

Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal information we may have about you. Contact us at info@propertydatalist.co.uk to exercise your rights.

Data Retention

Contact form submissions and newsletter subscriptions are retained as long as necessary for their purpose. Ask AI usage counters reset daily; observability records follow the retention configured with the relevant provider. You may request deletion of personal information at any time. Final retention periods require approval by the accountable operator before release.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
